5 of The Most Trendy Orlando Restaurants

Orlando has some of the best food scenes around. This is my list of the places with the best vibes located close to home. Don’t blame me for your aesthetic camera roll after visiting these local spots. Oh, and the food and cocktails are sure to not disappoint. Cheers🥂

The Monroe

The Monroe is located in the Creative Village in Downtown Orlando. It serves as a bar, a dining area, lounge, and coffee shop during the day. This place has great vibes with mid century modern decor and craft cocktails that make an excellent dining experience. They have a new addition called the Front Porch which is kid and dog friendly with first come first serve seating. They offer canned cocktails and appetizers with trivia and live music on some nights!

Reyes Mezcaleria

Reyes Mezcaleria is an authentic Mexican restaurant that offers over 150 agave spirits. They offer brunch, happy hour, lunch, dinner, and a chef’s tasting experience. Reyes Mezcaleria has group dining and can host showers, private room dining, rehearsal dinners, or a business luncheon. This restaurant offers great food and lively atmosphere right in Downtown Orlando.

AVA MediterrAegean

You don’t even need to go on vacation, this restaurant transports you straight to the Mediterranean while right on Park Ave. With its modern and organic arches to its rustic yet airy decor, the vibes are immaculate. Their dishes are influenced by the Cycladic Islands combining Mediterranean and Aegean cuisines and encourage, “slowing down and enjoying the moment.” – I think everyone could use a little of that! They offer dinner, brunch, cocktails, wine, and they host private events.

The Moderne

Moderne offers asian inspired tapas and a trendy contemporary cocktail scene. Located off Mills 50, this restaurant is a sight to see with its super vibrant decor and bold design. They host private events, happy hour, and dinner. With a variety of dishes to choose from, its a great place to stay for a while.

DOMU

DOMU is located in the trendy East End Market between Baldwin Park and Audubon Park. It is an incredible ramen bar that offers cocktails, sake, beer, and asian small plates. Get there early, the place is cozy and the line starts before it even opens, its that good… It is reasonably priced, and was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2022. Just a tip: It is not the place to go with a big crowd, the most comfortable is 2-4 people.
